Joanne Wilson was the March of Dimes poster girl of 1956 in this photo with Elvis Presley. Elvis was very charitable and always very supportive of different charities. Coming from a humble beginning himself, he knew what a hard life was all about. On this particular event, he had just finished up his last performance on the Ed Sullivan Show. During an interview with the little girl, Joanne was asked if she was an Elvis fan. She said, "No and I didn't want to kiss him." Kids can be brutally honest!
