Rising to success as an actress in her teenage years, beautiful Elizabeth Taylor starred alongside others like Richard Burton, Paul Newman, and Rock Hudson.But, in 1956, it was somewhat rocky during her role on "Giant," a drama about a ranching dynasty, along with Rock Hudson and James Dean. Not only did she and her director butt heads; but then, after the main shooting of the film, James Dean died in a car accident in his Porsche He was only 24 years old at the time. Despite the tragic event, the film itself did very well.
