Although she was born a brunette, Brigitte Bardot decided to dye her hair blonde in 1956 for an Italian movie role she played in. Once getting a taste of being blonde, she decided to keep the hair color; and, for the most part, has always been seen as a blonde since that time.She has played in various movies such as "The Truth," "And God Created Woman," and a musical called "Naughty Girl." After starring in 40 movies, she retired in 1973 and became an animal activist (and, naturally, a vegetarian).
