Yoel Romero has been frequently accused of cheating in the UFC, and until this week his biggest controversy was the UFC 178 'stoolgate.' Romero says he couldn't understand the referee John McCarthy ordering him back to action in the final round against Tim Kennedy, and had an additional 10 seconds rest between rounds.
Coming back to KO Kennedy that night, Romero has also been accused of grabbing the fence, throwing a fight during his time as an Olympian, and ost recently failed a USADA drug test. The word is he got popped for a designer steroid.
